Peewee Boating

These sessions are geared for children 6 to 8 years old.  The low-key instruction is designed to be fun and teach basic skills, such as how to tie knots, rigging an Opti, the tack and jibe, and paddling. The shallow water off Ship Point's beach ensures activities within the comfort range of small children and helps build confidence for instruction close to shore.  The beach provides a convenient and safe place to play and swim during those times when sailing may not be an option.
